Spillage

Spillage is a search engine for more than 190,000 Medium articles, built on the architecture from Google's original search engine paper. It uses a barrel-based inverted index with BM25 ranking across titles, content, tags and authors, supports adding new articles in real time, and can summarise any result with AI. The backend is FastAPI and the frontend is Next.js.
